Hello,

Thank you for submitting your concerns regarding chatoyaqui and your request for feedback removal.

I have reviewed the listings for chatoyaqui and taken appropriate action in accordance with our site policies. I would also like to explain eBay’s policy with respect to reports like yours.

eBay is not in a position to make judgments about the authenticity or authorized nature of auction items, except in the most extreme circumstances. This may mean that we cannot remove the item about which you contacted us.

In some cases, we refer the information to the owner of the rights (copyright, trademark, etc.) involved, if we know who they are and how to contact them. Although you may be extremely knowledgeable about these types of items, we often cannot remove items upon the representations of third parties whose credentials we cannot verify, unless of course the alleged infringement is obvious on its face.

That is why we strongly urge you to notify the rights holder of the suspected infringement and encourage them to join our Verified Rights Owners (VeRO) Program. This program enables them to request the ending of allegedly infringing auctions.

If you would like to read more information about the VeRO program, please go to the following page:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/vero-program.html

I have reviewed the feedback you received from chatoyaqui and determined that it does not meet eBay’s requirements for removal. These requirements are outlined in our Feedback Removal Policy on the following help page:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html

Although I understand your frustration in this matter, unless the feedback meets the requirements of this policy, we cannot remove it.
Additionally, we cannot prevent a seller from posting a negative feedback when you posted a negative feedback on their account. There are very few instances when we are able to remove feedback.

Members sometimes receive feedback they feel is inappropriate or unfair.
However, unless the feedback meets the removal policy guidelines it cannot be removed. This is why we encourage all members to use caution when posting feedback.

This is one area where we must be rather strict. Please review the information found in our Feedback Removal Policy at the help page listed above.

Thank you for your time, but if you need any further help, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Gabriel de Pruitt

I would like to continue to receive email support. Please note my comments below regarding this seller who has been selling counterfeit Gillette cartridges to me and other ebay buys. This has been documented and confirmed by Gillette. Please see documentation of my experience at fakeblades.com

Because I left negative feedback against the seller, chatoyaqui, he has left me feedback which is incorrect because of his fraudulent acts of selling counterfeit items.

Therefore, I am requesting that his negative feedback be removed from my profile, robmoor. Also, according to your policies regarding the sale of counterfeit items, his account should be suspended or terminated.

Thank you

Re Item number 5665130897
Seller – chatoyaqui

This seller has sold counterfeit Gillette Mach3 Turbo cartridges which has been confirmed by Gillette at 1-800-Gillette (ref# 010492625A). I have documented my experience at www.fakeblades.com

Other eBay users who have purchased these counterfeit Gillette cartridges have reported to me that they have confirmed with Gillette as being fake.

Because of the overwhelming evidence against this seller, I feel strongly his account should be terminated because of his acts of fraud. Again, I do have the evidence in my possession and can provide this to you along with his other buyers who have complained. As I have noted above, Gillette has my documentation and I will be mailing the fake Gillette cartridges to them as they have requested.

Also, this eBay seller, chatoyaqui, has wrongfully left me negative feedback because these cartridges are counterfeit.

Please have his negative feedback removed from my profile and appropriately suspend his account.

Thank you

Customer concern: The seller sold me counterfeit Gillette Mach 3 turbo razor blades. I noticed they were fake after my attempts to shave with these dull blades. After further examination, I notices the blades to be dirty, out of alignment and incorrectly number after comparisons to authentice Gillete Mach 3 Turbo blades.

I contacted Gillette at 800-445-5388 and verified these blades are counterfeit (reference # 010492625A). The customer service representative at Gillette told me the fake blades had numbers that were incorrectly inscribe and did not match their blade numbering system.

I have informed the seller of this problem and he has denied the counterfeits until I gave him information regarding my conversation with Gillette. However, he refuses to return my money unless I mail the fake blades back to him. However, Gillette is requesting these blades since they are contraband and sending me a mailing package to send blades to them.

There seller continues to illegally sell these blades to other unsuspecting ebay purchasers and I am about to leave negative feedback in hope of preventing these purchases.

I highly recommend that your suspend his account to prevent this fraud upon other ebay buyers.

Please advise the next action I should take.

Thank you,

robmoor
