Do Gillette Fusion cartridges have serial numbers?

It has come to my attention through recent email messages and comments in the Guestbook section at fakeblades.com that Gillette has stopped manufacturing some of their Fusion and Fusion Power brand cartridges with machine/date codes known as serial numbers. I have been unable to confirm this information with Gillette but a reliable source has posted a comment confirming this information with Gillette customer service.
