In my last posting regarding 2005jonnys2005 who has recently changed his eBay user ID to europes_lowest_deals, I provided information regarding my interaction with an eBay buyer who purchased Gillette Mach3 Turbo cartridges from 2005jonnys2005. This buyer suspected the cartridges he received from 2005jonnys2005 were counterfeit His suspicions proved to be correct and confirmed by Gillette as indicated in our e-mail exchange below.

Gillette UK does confirm the Gillette cartridges sold by 2005jonnys2005 are counterfeit (reference number 2130069). This is a good example of a desperate eBay seller who will not only fraudulently sell counterfeit items to his customers but also use another means of deception in auction listings, as displayed in one of his auctions in pink text near middle of page, by associating himself with fakeblades.com.

europes_lowest_deals is 2005jonnys2005’s new eBay UserID/Name, he changed it recently.
Lowest of the low… it seems. Nearly everything he’s sold in the last few months, from GHD straighteners to Oral-B electric toothbrush heads to Ugg boots to GBA games to Gillette razor blades are notorious for being counterfeited and sold out of Asia.
His associating himself with your site is utterly preposterous.

I did contact PG regarding fake blades which china is manufacturing, but there was no comment.
I checked my local Pathmark, and they also have product from China, France and Poland.
Does PG has production in those countries? or Pathmark has fake product too?

Poland is where Gillette’s main factory is in the EU. I don’t think Gillette has factories in China or France.
Fakes end up on store shelves, too. Not as often as on eBay, though. Normally, those for sale at PathMark should be real.
Alibaba is appropriately named (it’s named after a Robinhood-like thief who stole from thieves).
They may not have commented to your question, but they have addressed the US Senate about it:

The 3 to 5 bladed Gillette cartridges (Mach3, Mach3 Turbo, M3 Power, Fusion, Fusion Power and Gillette Venus) are only manufactured in Boston, Massachusetts and Berlin, Germany.

I’m not going to argue with the admin, he seems to know what he’s talking about. I know the Gillette Company has a massive, new factory in Poland (Gillette’s largest factory in the world), but I do not know what is manufactured there. The admin very well may be correct that the Fusion and Mach3 blades are only made at the Boston factories. Boston is the only location that I am certain manufactures Fusion blades. Gillette has many other products that it could be manufacturing in Poland and other factories around the world.
According to one older Boston Globe article, the Lódz (Poland) complex was to be the replacement for an aging packaging and warehousing center in Great Britain.
However, a newer article indicates:
“The [Polish] facility comprises three separate operations, which include a production building, a packaging unit and a warehouse, with each section being run concurrently but as separate businesses.
“The manufacturing unit will produce cartridges for several shaving systems as well as disposable razors and will be run by Gillette. ”
Perhaps the Polish facility only makes 2 blade cartridges (Sensor, etc) and disposable razors, or perhaps the admin’s information is dated. I do not know.
